About Stone Experience

Two Paths.
One Vision.

How We Began

Stone Experience was built at the intersection of two different worlds.

On one side: more than a decade of technical and commercial experience in the stone, countertop, and construction industry. On the other: years of entrepreneurship, brand-building, sales, marketing, and operations — including running a business rooted in customer experience from day one.

Ruan

Ruan built his career inside the stone and countertop industry. Over more than a decade, he worked across sales, estimating, client service, project management, materials and slabs, fabrication, installation coordination, and supplier relationships — collaborating closely with builders, designers, and construction professionals on both residential and commercial projects.

That path gave him more than technical knowledge. It gave him a front-row view of the industry's real challenges — how small decisions made during budgeting, templating, fabrication, or installation ripple into quality, timeline, cost, and, most importantly, the client's final experience.

Karina

Karina's entrepreneurial path began in Brazil, where she led administrative, commercial, and marketing operations for companies in security and specialized labor — managing contracts, business development, client relationships, and teams that, on certain projects, grew beyond 200 people. She also worked on operations and events for a high-end clientele, sharpening a strong instinct for service, presentation, and perceived value.

In 2018, after relocating to the United States, Karina founded Unique Modern Jewelry — building a brand from the ground up and deepening her expertise in positioning, marketing, sales, and client relationships. Above all, it taught her that the experience delivered to a customer can matter just as much as the product itself.

Why Stone Experience Exists

We saw an industry focused only on the final product.

The Gap We Saw

A countertop, to us, doesn't begin on installation day. There's an entire journey before that — choosing the material, budgeting, measuring, defining every detail, fabrication, communication, follow-up, and finally, installation. Almost none of that journey was being treated as part of the product.

A Different Kind Of Company

We didn't want to build a company that simply cuts and installs stone. We wanted to build one that unites deep technical and operational knowledge with real expertise in brand, service, marketing, and customer experience — a company designed, from day one, to elevate the standard of buying and fabricating countertops.

Built From The Ground Up

Turning that vision into a real business took far more than a concept. We formed the company in Florida, planned the finances, searched for the right fabrication space, studied zoning and electrical infrastructure, selected and acquired CNC equipment, renovated the facility, developed a showroom, and built out suppliers, initial material inventory, software, insurance, operational processes, our team, visual identity, and market positioning — one decision at a time.

A Brand Built Like A Gallery

We never wanted Stone Experience to look like a typical construction company. From the beginning, the direction was closer to a gallery — sophisticated, minimal, modern, and centered on the material itself as a piece of design, and often, as a genuine work of nature.

What This Means To Us

Something Of Our Own.

For Ruan, this is more than a decade of hands-on industry experience turned into an operation built around everything he learned — and everything he believed could be done better.

For Karina, it's years of entrepreneurship, branding, marketing, and customer-experience work, applied to a company built from day one with a clear point of view.

And for both of us, it's the construction of something that's genuinely ours — shaped by experience, by the gaps we noticed, and by the conviction that this market has room for a countertop company that delivers technical excellence without treating a client as just another job on the production floor.
